IUDI Kerala Centre coordinated with the Department of Town and Country Planning of Kerala in organizing a workshop on "Sensitizing Town Planners on the need for Urban Design". The workshop was coordinated by three IUDI Members, Ar. BileyMenon, Dr. ManojKini and Ar. NirmalChandy and covered following subjects:

- Elements of Urban Design
- Ecological Urban Restructuring
- Development Controls and policy framework
